Hope your summer is wrapping up nicely and you’ve had some time to relax at the beach, or wherever it is that brings you joy.
While I was off traveling with little Syd in Israel and Jordan, Big Syd was busy in the Hamptons! If you missed last week’s email, click here to read all about our travels. Meanwhile, let’s talk Hamptons!
Big Syd was stepping out in style and rubbing noses with celebrities at a swanky Hamptons art show. He was a featured guest! Professionally decorated by a known local artist, whose signature style had him covered in swirls of bright colors and a sprinkling of diamond dust. Did you even know that was a thing? Now I want some. How cool would that be?
Big Syd got lots of attention and loved being in the spotlight. The artist now wants to do a limited edition run of 50 Big Syds! His magic keeps on spreading.
Talk about Syd’s magic spreading in a monumental way… there was even an art expert who is now interested in Monumental Syd. For me to watch how the world has embraced Syd is still surreal to me. When I think of all the tears and doubt in those early years, wondering how I could really bring him into the world, I am humbled and filled with gratitude. And, he’s signing autographs and asking for an agent.
Life sure is colorful!
