I’m over the full moon in Aquarius excited! Big Syd is back better than ever! He’s now carefully hand assembled and painted in the U.S.A. All of us on the TSM team are feeling his rich glow and want to share it with you too! To celebrate I’m walking down memory lane….
I love all the Syds and how their creation has unfolded. Big Syd was my original vision and the initial design even though Little Syd ended up being made first.
For 9 months I went back and forth with an artist to sculpt my vision of Big Syd. We lived two hours apart, so we often met in the Rockaway Mall parking lot. I joked that the police must be wondering what was going on. 🤣
The fire fighters also must be wondering what’s going on sometimes too because now that TSM is 13, when I slip into a false sense of 911 emergency mode in business, I instead look at Syd, smile, and embrace the fire 🔥 inside with unconditional love 💜. Truly Syd and I have been on a magic carpet ride of learning (and still learning). Syd teaches me to be courageous and play my way through any challenge.
The question “What makes me come alive?” has guided me on my journey of leaving corporate to becoming a creative entrepreneur. It is my why behind every choice including to have Big Syd made in the U.S.A.
The decision wasn’t because an intuitive told me so (though that was confirming!). It literally came to the point where the manufacturer in China just wasn’t cutting it because they were cutting too many corners, and we were all needlessly suffering because of it. Syd was like, “Ellen, an easier way that feels so much better is right here closer to home!”
Now that Big Syd is made in the U.S.A., he continues to be expansive beyond measure because of all the care that goes into making each one true to spirit.
