Happiness is the highest form of health.”

Hi Magical Beings,

I know it has been a while… nothing new there. 😅

As you know…

I love spending my days finding the things that spark joy inside of me.

And please, don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I don’t also spend time in tears because of all that is going on in the world.

That is part of me, too.

But spreading joy, and laughing, gets me through so much.

It keeps me in a balanced vibration.

If you remember my last email, (ugh 2023 🤦‍♀️), I had to make the challenging decision to fire my fulfillment center at the height of my busiest season.

And let me tell you, it wasn’t easy.

But now, after all that, I couldn’t be happier.

Everything is under my control, so each order goes out with our beautiful energy – and it’s all wrapped so gorgeously (If I can say so myself 😉)!

I am so happy that all of this happened exactly the way that it did – but honestly, at the time, I actually had the thought…

“I don’t know if I can do this anymore”.

My husband would sit with me, as tears were streaming down my face, and say “Ellen, maybe you’ll sell less, but it will be to the customers that you love – and it will all work out”.

I have the best husband, truly.

And, as I was still finding my way, with so many boxes returned from fulfillment still unpacked – I had to call one of my biggest customers to give them (what I thought was) the unfortunate news…

Turns out – the phone call went even better than expected!

There I was, thinking I would have to downsize my company and let go of this customer, but instead, I got my biggest order in 13 years – and 2 new big accounts along with it!

Think casinos! Guess Syd likes to gamble – who knew 🤷‍♀️.

And guess what? We even got all of the orders out on time, with no chargebacks!

(YAY – we did it 🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️)

My point, you ask?

Mmmmm. Did I have one?

Must I have one? Lol

Just dropping in to say – I love and appreciate you, I love life (even the parts that sometimes break my heart).

Thank you for being here along with us through this journey!

With love and always a dash of magic,
Ellen and Syd

While I could never get myself to choose a favorite Syd (it would be like choosing a favorite child!), I always have a favorite ‘of the moment.”

Lately, my clear favorite is the Syd of JOY. In the past, I have been drawn to the colors orange, black, or pink, for those of my friends who were facing a health diagnosis or personal challenge, silver for friends taking on a new venture, or white for those needing a spiritual lift. While all those colors and sentiments convey hope for the future, (hope is one of my favorite words – one I cherish deeply), joy, for me, is about being happy and present in the now. It reminds me, each day, to be grateful for this life. That seemingly simple 3-letter word has so much meaning and impact.”
